We started the Community Pastoral Care Network in March 2020 at the start of the
Covid-19 Pandemic. We have about 55 residents that we regularly call to check on them,
see if there’s anything they need, and minister to them. Many of them have only a few
family, if any, in the area to help care for them. We’ve been able to provide food, toiletries,
and other goods; along with completing services they need done in and outside their homes
such as tuckpointing, roof repair, and many others. Over the course of this year, we have
developed wonderful relationships with the residents and are hoping to surprise them
this Christmas with gift baskets.
